At what stage of the season did Carlton start tanking, last year?

Former player %26amp; coach Ken Judge, (ex Hawthorn - WCE coach,) in todays weekly newspaper column has suggested that Fremantle Dockers should start tanking now.

He's suggested they have no finals prospects this year %26amp; they should throw out the anchor now in order that they finish bottom to get a quality draft choice.

He's says they need to stock up on youngsters because they have too many old codgers in their current team. I was just wondering when Carlton decided on doing the same last season.

At what stage of the season did Carlton start tanking, last year?
They do have to many old old slow people on their team.

They need to start blooding more peopel like garrick iborherson and maine and all the other young ones.
Reply:According to Tony Libaratore it was about three quarters of the way through the home %26amp; away games season, when Carlton started tanking.

By the look of Fremantles form this season it looks like they started about six weeks ago!
Reply:I don't know if they did or didn't.

But it was an interesting article in the newspaper as to what Judge said. At the end of each season. now, there will be claims of lowewr ranked teams tanking.
Reply:Hmm, weren't carlton found 'not guilty' for tanking last year?
