How do i get rid of a hawthorn tree?
If you don't like the answer provided in the link I have found this method works well with removing unwanted trees and shrubs.
1) Cut the tree down to a main stump.
2) Paint the stump with a strong herbicide such as Round-up, but do not dilute it.
3) Cover about 1-inch of the edge of the stump with wax to seal in the round-up and to discourage new growth forming from the top of the stump.
